FULL NCATA LIST OF ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL HONOREES

FULL CONFERENCE CAROLINAS RELEASE

WACO, Texas - 11 members of the Coker University Acrobatics & Tumbling team have been named to the 2021 National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll, announced today (Tuesday, Apr. 20). The honorees are the first in program history for Coker. 

Torie Bosner, Dorian Brantley, Megan Despres, Zadie Dulaney, Amber Garcia, Maleighia Haymon, Madison McAfee, Julie McMillan, Karina Padilla, Deja Robinson and Paula Urquidi were the Cobras to receive this honor after earning a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher in the 2020-21 academic year. This is the first career Academic Honor Roll selection for all 11 individuals. 

Bosner is the daughter of Daniel and Jennifer Bosner. The Waterford, Ohio native is an exercise science major.

Brantley is the daughter of Denise Brantley. The Wingate, N.C. native is a dance education major. 

Despres is the daughter of Colleen and Peter Despres. The Abingdon, Md. native is a biology major. 

Dulaney is the daughter of Michelle and Michael Dular. The Charlotte, N.C. native is a bio pre-med major.

Garcia is the daughter of Madeline and Roger Garcia. The Clover, S.C. native is a bio pre-med major.

Haymon is the daughter of Ameber and Bruce Choen. The Lyman S.C. native is a psychology major.

McAfee is the daughter of Todd and Jamie McAfee. The Chapin, S.C. native is a business and marketing major.

McMillan is the daughter of Paige and Scott McMillan. The Bennettsville, S.C. native is a biology major. 

Padilla is the daughter of Jenny and Danny Reynoso. The Covina, Calif. native is a biology major.

Robinson is the daughter of Christie and Eugene Robinson. The Huntington, W.V. native is a biology major.

Urquidi is the daughter of Liliana Ornelas and Alfonso Urquidi. The Langley, British Columbia native is an exercise science major. 

In total, 432 Acrobatics & Tumbling student-athletes were selected to the Academic Honor Roll.
