Payton Baronella-O'Toole was a field hockey player who played for the Cobras at Coker University. In the 2022-23 season, she started in 17 games and scored two goals, provided two assists, and took six shots with a shooting percentage of .087. She also made three defensive saves and was named to the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. In the 2020-21 season, she played and started in all eight games, earning one assist for one point. She was also selected to participate in the NFHCA Senior Game. During the 2019-20 season, she started in 15 games as a defender for the Cobras. In her freshman year in 2018-19, she played and started in 13 games and recorded one defensive save. Before attending her current college, Payton Baronella-O'Toole played lacrosse at Anne Arundel Community College. In high school, she played field hockey at Old Mill High School. Baronella-O'Toole holds a Master's in Forensic Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She also obtained a Master's in College Athletic Administration from Coker University in Hartsville, SC. Prior to her Master's degree, Payton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Coker University as well.
