Coker Women’s Tennis Signs Altman

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women’s tennis coach Tom Simpson announced today that Casey Altman (Pawleys Island, S.C.) has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Cobras.

Altman comes to Coker from Waccamaw High School, where she was a two-sport star in tennis and softball. In tennis, she was named all-region and all-state, and was a three-time state champion. In softball, she won a state championship and was named to an all-tournament team.

“Casey is a disciplined, hard-working individual whom I believe will thrive at Coker, both as a student and as a member of our team,” said head coach Tom Simpson. “She is a perfect fit for our program, and I’m excited to get her on campus.”

Casey is the daughter of Alan and Betsy Altman.
