Coker Athletics Releases 2021-22 Fall Schedules

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University Athletics released its Fall 2021 schedules today (Thursday, July 15) for volleyball, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's and women's cross country and field hockey.

Volleyball opens the season on Sept. 7 hosting conference foe Wingate, before traveling to USC Aiken's tournament on Sept. 10-11 and hosting UNC Pembroke in a non-conference contest on Sept. 14. The cobras then hit the road for a league road trip with stops at Lenoir-Rhyne (Sept. 17), Mars Hill (Sept. 18) and Limestone (Sept. 21). Coker returns home to conclude the month of September, hosting Catawba (Sept. 24) and Queens (N.C.) on Sept. 25. The Cobras open October with three consecutive road matches, traveling to Newberry (Oct. 1), Anderson (S.C.) (Oct. 2) and UNC Pembroke (Oct. 5). Coker then returns home for Homecoming weekend to host Carson-Newman (Oct. 8) and Lincoln Memorial (Oct. 9), before hosting Fayetteville State on Oct. 12. After hosting Limestone on Oct. 22 to wrap up the season series, the Cobras hit the road to Fayetteville State to wrap up the season series and wrap up October on Oct. 26. The Cobras open November at hone hosting Lenoir-Rhyne on Nov. 5 and Mars Hill on Nov. 6, before concluding the regular season on the road at Catawba (Nov. 10) and Queens (Nov. 13).

Men's soccer opens the season in non-conference action at home against Chowan (Sept. 2), before hosting Belmont Abbey on Sept. 8 and Erskine on Sept. 11. The Cobras then hit the road for a three-match stretch with trips to Francis Marion (Sept. 15), Lincoln Memorial (Sept. 18) and Mount Olive (Sept. 21). Coker then returns home for South Atlantic Conference contests against Tusculum (Sept. 25) and Lenoir-Rhyne (Sept. 29) to conclude the month of September. Coker starts October on the road at Catawba (Oct. 2) and Newberry (Oct. 6), before returning home to face Mars Hill on Oct. 9 for Homecoming. The Cobras then get back on the road for trips to Wingate (Oct. 13) and Limestone (Oct. 16), before returning home for a non-conference tilt with Shaw on Oct. 20. The Cobras travel to Carson-Newman on Oct. 23, before wrapping up the regular season at home against Queens (N.C.) (Oct. 30) and Anderson (S.C.) (Nov. 3).

Women's soccer opens the season with four consecutive non-conference home matches, starting with Southern Wesleyan on Sept. 2. Coker then hosts Barton on Sept. 8 and Converse on Sept. 11, before welcoming Lander on Sept. 15. The Cobras open South Atlantic Conference play at Lincoln Memorial on Sept. 18, before returning home to wrap up September against Tusculum (Sept. 25) and Lenoir-Rhyne (Sept. 29). Coker starts October with two SAC road contests at Catawba (Oct. 2) and Newberry (Oct. 6), before returning home to host Mars Hill on Oct. 9 for Homecoming. The Cobras then hit the road again for trips to Wingate (Oct. 13) and Limestone (Oct. 16), before returning home to face Shaw on Oct. 23. The Cobras will travel to Carson-Newman on Oct. 23, before wrapping up the regular season at home against Queens (N.C.) (Oct. 30) and Anderson (S.C.) (Nov. 3).

The men's and women's cross country start the season at the Fleet Feet XC Invite in Salisbury, N.C. on Sept. 4, before traveling to Wingate, N.C. for the Bulldog Stampede on Sept. 18. Coker concludes the month of September on Sept. 24 in Charlotte, N.C. at the Queens City Invite, before returning to Charlotte to start October at the Royals Challenge (Oct. 8). The Cobras then travel to Spartanburg, S.C. on Oct. 16 for the Upstate Invitational, before competing in the South Atlantic Conference Championships in Charlotte on Oct. 23.

Field Hockey opens the season on Sept. 7 against conference foe Limestone, before welcoming Queens (N.C.) on Sept. 12. Coker then embarks on a three-game road trip making stops at Newberry (Sept. 14), Lincoln Memorial (Sept. 19) and Mount Olive (Sept. 25) before returning home to face Converse (Sept. 26). Coker opens October wrapping up the season series with Queens on the road on Oct. 2, before hosting Mount Olive on Oct. 6 and Newberry on Oct. 10 for Homecoming. The Cobras then hit the road again for three games, traveling to Belmont Abbey (Oct. 16), Limestone (Oct. 19) and Converse (Oct. 23). The Cobras wrap up the regular season Halloween weekend at home, hosting Belmont Abbey on Oct. 30 and Frostburg State on Oct. 31.
