Hartsville, SC- Yazeare Pearsall-Garcia is a sprinter for Coker he has managed to be a big threat on the track as he set the school record in the 60M. Pearsall-Garcia has won the SPC Credit Union September Student-Athlete of the Month, announced today (Monday, Feb. 5th) by the Coker University Athletics Department.

Pearsall-Garcia broke the Coker school record in the 60m dash with a time of 6.81 seconds on January 27th. His time also landed him on the podium at the Camel City Invitational, taking
home silver with the second-fastest time at an event that included runners from NCAA D1 institutions like Appalachian State and East Carolina.
