Coker Cross Country Ready to Run at NCAA Southeast Regional

Montevallo, Ala. – The Coker College men's and women's cross country teams are back on the road as they are set to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional meet on Saturday (Nov. 22) in Montevallo, Ala.

The men are coming off a seventh place finish at the SAC championships while the women came in eighth.

The men are led by the trio of Noah Cook, Nick Mascardo and Dylan Bates who all registered top 30 finishes at the conference meet. Cook finished with an 8k time of 27:47. Mascardo crossed the finish line with a time of 27:48, while Bates came in with a time of 27:52.

The ladies are led by All-SAC honorable mention team selection Shauntel Smullen who came in with another top 15 finish at the conference meet after a 5k time of 19:43. Smullen has successfully finished in the top 25 of every meet this season.

Races will begin on Saturday (Nov. 22) in Montevallo, Ala.
