The Coker women's cross country team competed in the 2023 Akiah McMillan Invitational. Jackline Kosgei, a junior at UNC Pembroke, finished in first place with a time of 22:18.7.
Catherine Cann, a senior at Coker, had a strong performance, finishing in 39th place with a time of 26:27.7. Taylor Marotta, a junior at Coker, finished in 67th place with a time of 29:45.9. Madeline Fontana, a sophomore at Coker, finished in 88th place with a time of 34:04.4.
Reece Sherwin, a freshman at Coker, finished in 103rd place with a time of 37:52.5. Amanda Arguello, a sophomore at Coker, finished in 108th place with a time of 39:59.7. Annabelle Hooper, also a sophomore at Coker, finished in 111th place with a time of 41:00.2.
The team's next race is the Royals XC Challenge on October 6.
