Volleyball Falls to Tusculum Friday Night

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University volleyball fell to Tusculum Friday night (Sept. 23) by a score of 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-11). 

Chelsey Blume finished with a team-high six kills in the match, while Taylor Hills and Lauren Loveday each had four. Alexis Kopicki contributed three, Alaysia Anderson had two and Kendal Boland and Adriana Velez each had one. Velez dished out a team-high 11 assists in the match, while Boland had six and Makayla Harris, Hills and Anderson each had one. Velez and Boland each had one service ace in the match. Harris led the way with seven digs, while Loveday and Alex Williams each had six and six others registered digs in the contest. Blume led the blocking effort with three solo blocks, while Nehemiah Jinks and Loveday each had one. 

The Cobras return to action tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 24) to host Mars Hill. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. from the DeLoach Center, with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com
