Cobras Fall to Railsplitters in SAC Match

HARROGATE, Tenn.- The Coker College women's volleyball team traveled to Lincoln Memorial and fell to the Railsplitters 3-0 in South Atlantic Conference action Friday (Oct. 20) night.

The Cobras were led offensively by Taylor du Bray and Bethany Prochnow with six kills a piece. Alexis Berles and Madison Bingle finished with five kills each. Christen Bragg had 21 of the 24 assists on the evening. Bragg also was the leader in digs with eight and in service aces with two. Prochnow and Bingle headed up the defense with two block assists individually.

As a team, the Navy and Gold ended the match with 27 kills, 24 assists, three service aces, 33 digs, and four total blocks.

The Cobras stay in Tennessee as they head over to Carson-Newman Saturday (Oct. 21) to take on the Eagles in a conference match scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m.
