Cobras Blanked by the Lions in a SAC Matchup

MARS HILL, N.C.- The Coker women's volleyball team made their way to Mars Hill on Friday (Sept. 29) to take on the Lions in a South Atlantic Conference matchup. The Cobras kept the match tight but lost in three sets (25-23, 25-23, 25-18).

Alexis Berles led the offense with 11 kills to her credit, with an impressive .417 hitting percentage. Madison Bingle and Chloe Attram backed her up with seven and six kills, respectively. Christen Bragg helped the offensive attack with 34 assists on the night and defensively with 15 digs. Kara Overholt had a team-high 22 digs, followed closely by Bingle with 18.

The team finished with 42 kills, 40 assists, 82 digs, and six block assists.

The Cobras continue their SAC weekend road trip by traveling to the Pioneers of Tusculum College on Saturday (Sept. 30). The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
