Cobras Fall to the Royals

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Coker Cobra women's volleyball team traveled to Queens University of Charlotte on Tuesday (Sept. 12) to take on the Royals, but came out on the losing end of a 3-1 battle.

Taylor du Bray had a night. She was the key to Cobras offense and had her way from the right side, totaling 18 kills and a .314 hitting percentage.

Madison Bingle finished the match second in kills and digs, with seven and 21, respectively. Kara Overholt had the team high in digs for the night with 29.

The Navy and Gold had a great night defensively, collecting 84 total digs and seven blocks as a team.

The Cobras open their home schedule against fellow South Atlantic Conference member, the Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters. The match is scheduled for Friday (Sept. 15) at 7 p.m.
