Cobras Suffer Loss to Bears Friday Evening

HICKORY, N.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss to the Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears Friday (Nov. 4) night in SAC play.

The Cobras were led offensively by Madison Bingle and Olivia Veith who tallied six kills each. Taylor du Bray played an important role for Coker offensively by dishing out a team-high 14 assists.

On the defensive side of the ball, Kara Overholt led he way with 24 digs and Alexis Berles had a solid outing with three total blocks. 

The Cobras will have little time off as they travel to Brevard tomorrow (Nov. 5) afternoon to take on the Tornados at 12 p.m.
