SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Coker College women's volleyball defeated the Converse College Valkyries 3-1 on Tuesday (Oct. 6) in a non-conference road matchup.

The Cobras won sets one and two by scores of 25-17 and 25-19. Converse forced a fourth set when they won set three 25-23. The Cobras would rally to win an extended fourth set 27-25 to take home the 3-1 win.

Madison Bingle led the way with a team-high 15 kills. Missy Reid and Rachel Waters recorded 12 digs. Christen Bragg dished out 26 to pace the offense.

The Cobras will be back in action on Friday (Oct. 9) when they travel to Anderson for a SAC road matchup.
