Catawba Defeats Coker 3-0

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team lost its South Atlantic Conference match 3-0 to the Catawba College Indians on Saturday (Oct. 26) afternoon. The Indians defeated the Cobras with set scores of 25-8, 25-16 and 25-17.

Senior Hannah Vadakin led the Coker attack with six kills, while classmate Taylor Willis tallied four kills and three digs. Junior setter Samantha Celek handed out 20 assists with four digs, and senior libero Mindy Morris led the team in digs with nine.

The Cobras will return to the floor on Friday (Nov. 1) for a road match at Lincoln Memorial. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
