Coker Drops Four Set Match to Queens 3-1

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team lost its South Atlantic Conference match to the Queens University of Charlotte Royals on Friday (Oct. 25) night, 3-1.

After dropping the first set to the Royals, 25-14, the Cobras stormed back to take the second set, 25-21. Queens took the final two sets and the match with scores of 25-8 and 25-16.

Taylor Willis and Timara Arnold led the Cobra offensive attack with seven and five kills respectively. Hannah Vadakin added four kills, while Samantha Celek dished out 24 assists with seven digs. Mindy Morris was the dig leader for Coker with eight.

The Cobras will return to the court on Saturday (Oct. 26) when they host the Indians of Catawba in a conference match at 2 p.m.
