ANDERSON, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team dropped its South Atlantic Conference match to Anderson on Friday (Oct. 18) night, 3-1.

The Cobras opened the match with a 25-21 victory in the first set to take a 1-0 lead. Unfortunately for Coker, Anderson won the next three sets 25-19, 25-9 and 25-9 to take home the win.

Taylor Willis was the kill leader for the Cobras with eight, while Amanda Harris added seven kills. Celia Duggan had six kills and Kelly Stine added five kills with 11 assists. Mindy Morris had a team high 13 digs and Samantha Celek had 15 assists.

Coker returns to the court at 2 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 20) for a SAC match at Newberry College.
