Catawba Defeats Coker 3-0

SALISBURY, N.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team dropped its South Atlantic Conference match 3-0 to Catawba College on Saturday (Sept. 21).

The Indians defeated the Cobras with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, and 25-20.

Brittney Pink led the Cobra attack with six kills and nine digs, while Loren Hill, Celia Duggan and Amanda Harris each had four kills. Mindy Morris was the dig leader with 15 and Hill added seven digs.

The Cobras will return to the friendly confines of Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium for their next match on Friday (Sept. 27) against Lincoln Memorial. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
