Coker Drops Three Set Match to Queens

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Cobra women's volleyball team lost its South Atlantic Conference match against the Queens University of Charlotte Royals 3-0 on Friday (Sept. 20) night.

The Royals swept past Coker with scores of 27-25, 25-12 and 25-6.

Cassandra Nagel led the Cobras with seven kills, while Loren Hill had five kills. Amanda Harris and Mindy Morris led the team in digs with eight and seven respectively, and Samantha Celek handed out 17 assists and had six digs. 

The Cobras will complete their two-match SAC road trip on Saturday (Sept. 21) when they travel Catawba College. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
