Cobras Fall to Crusaders 3-0

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Catie Truzzolino had seven kills to lead the Cobras in their 3-0 loss to Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action on Wednesday night. The Crusaders defeated the Cobras in straight sets 25-10, 25-16 and 25-20.

In addition to Truzzolino's team leading kills, Samantha Celek had 18 assists and Brittany Bass had a match high 14 digs.

Coker remains in third place in the East Division standings. The top four teams from each division advance to the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Tournament. A win against Converse College on Saturday (Nov. 2) would secure the Cobras spot in the tournament.

The Cobras final home match of the season will be on Friday (Nov. 1) against Emmanuel College. The match is scheduled for 5 p.m. Prior to the start of the match Coker will honor their two seniors, Brittany Bass and April Griggs.
