Coker Shuts Out Limestone

GAFFNEY, S.C. – Coker College earned a 3-0 straight set victory over Limestone College on Friday night in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action. The Cobras defeated the Saints with scores of 25-22, 26-24 and 27-25.

Taylor Willis was the kill leader for the Cobras with 13 kills, while Kelley Stine had nine kills and Catie Truzzolino had seven kills.  Samantha Celek handed out 28 assists and Brittany Bass had 10 digs.

As a team the Cobras hit an astonishing .344 (43 for 96) with eight of 10 players registering at least one kill.

The Cobras will return to the court on Saturday when they travel to Banner Elk, N.C. to take on Lees-McRae College at 2 p.m.
