HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College head volleyball coach Todd Caughlin announced today that Hannah Vadakin will be joining the Cobras for the fall of 2011 from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

A right-side hitter, Vadakin calls Centennial, Colorado home where she was a three-time letter winner for the Little High School volleyball team. Named to the All-State Honorable Mention Team in 2009 Vadakin spent the last season at Graceland University.

"Hannah brings to Coker a high level playing experience from both her club program and Graceland University,” said Caughlin. “She understands that success on the court works hand-in-hand with success in the classroom. She wants to be on the floor and wants to make an impact with the program. I look forward to seeing what the future holds.”

In addition to her on the court success, Vadakin is a four-time member of the honor roll and a member of the National Honors Society. She plans on majoring in Sports Management when she arrives at Coker in the fall.

One of nine new players joining the Cobras this season, Vadakin and the rest of the team are looking forward to big things during Coach Caughlin’s second year in command.
