HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College Head Volleyball Coach Todd Caughlin is pleased to announce the signing of Anna Schwark to a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Cobras starting in the fall of 2011.

Schwark comes to Coker from north of the boarder in Coaldale, Alberta, Canada where she is a League All-Star middle hitter at Catholic Central High School. A team captain, two-time letter winner and 110% Award winner, Schwark has helped lead her team to back-to-back league championships.

"Anna brings a love for the game and work ethic that everyone will be able to feed off immediately,” said Caughlin. “She understands the responsibilities that are required to play the middle position and will go above and beyond the call to make sure that the work is done to be successful.”

The addition of Schwark gives Coach Caughlin and the Cobras five new faces as they head into the 2011 season. Coker will take to the court in their first matches of the season on September 2-3 at the Queens University of Charlotte Tournament in Charlotte, N.C.
