HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College Head Volleyball Coach Todd Caughlin announced the signing of Jordan Arnsmeyer to a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Cobras in the fall of 2011 on Tuesday.

Arnsmeyer is a 6-1 outside hitter hailing most recently from Sumter, S.C., but prior to her time in Sumter she played in Dallas, Texas. An All-Region selection and Region Player of the Year at Wilson Hall in Sumter, Arnsmeyer was also a Second Team All-District selection during her junior season in Dallas.

“Jordan brings size, the ability to play all around and a winning attitude to the Coker volleyball program,” said Caughlin. “She comes with a very strong playing background from her club and high school experiences, including being a member of one of the strongest club programs in the Dallas area and in Texas. Jordan is the type of player that makes an impact on and off the court. She did it she came to Wilson Hall and I expect her to do the same at Coker.”

Arnsmeyer becomes the third new player to commit to joining the Cobras for the fall of 2011 joining transfer Kelly Stine and fellow incoming freshman Taylor Clay.
