BELMONT, N.C.  – Katie McElveen (Hartsville, S.C.) had seven kills and a team high nine digs in the Cobra volleyball team’s 3-0 loss to Belmont Abbey on Friday night in Conference Carolinas volleyball action. Coker fell to the Abbey in straight sets with scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-10.

In addition to McElveen’s seven kills, Cynallyhia Indriago (Columbia, S.C.) had six kills and six digs, while Molly Bookhart (Orangeburg, S.C.) had 18 assists and Brittany Bass (Bethune, S.C.) had seven digs.

The Coker will take to the court again on Saturday at Lees-McRae. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m.
