HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker’s Katie McElveen (Hartsville, S.C.) recorded a team high 10 kills with eight digs in the Cobras 3-0 loss to Conference Carolinas rival Queens University of Charlotte Saturday afternoon. The Royals knocked off the Cobras in straight sets with scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-13.

Leading the Queens attack was Keri Kemp with 11 kills, seven digs and two aces, while Anna Gibbs had eight kills. Taylor Riley handed out 29 assists in the match with seven digs.

For the Cobras, Mindy Morris (Beaufort, S.C.) and April Griggs (Bishopville, S.C.) had five kills each, with Morris adding 11 digs on the day. Molly Bookhart (Orangeburg, S.C.) dished out 24 assists with nine digs and Brittany Bass (Bethune, S.C.) had 10 digs in the match.
