BANNER ELK, N.C. – Five Lady Cobra volleyball players had five or more digs, while Jordan Hancock (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) had eight kills in Coker’s 3-0 loss to Palm Beach Atlantic University at the Carolinas Challenge Volleyball Tournament at Lees-McRae College. Coker lost in straight sets 25-14, 25-16 and 25-16.

In addition to her eight kills Hancock also had five digs, while Katie McElveen (Hartsville, S.C.) was the Lady Cobras dig leader with six. Cynallhia Indriago (Columbia, S.C.) had five kills and five digs, with Molly Bookhart handing out 20 assists with five digs and Brittany Bass (Bethune, S.C.) also had five digs.

Coker returns to action for their second day of the Carolinas Challenge Volleyball Tournament on Saturday. Their first match of the day is at 10:00 a.m. versus Wingate University with match two starting at 3:30 p.m. against USC-Aiken.
