BANNER Elk, N.C. - Freshman Katie McElveen (Hartsville, S.C.) was the Coker volleyball kill leader in the Lady Cobras first match of the season on Friday afternoon with five kills. Coker lost the match 3-0 to nationally ranked #22 Flagler College with scores of 25-12, 25-11 and 25-10 in the opening match of the Carolinas Challenge Volleyball Tournament at Lees-McRae College.

Junior Cynallhia Indriago (Columbia, S.C.) was the Lady Cobras dig leader with seven digs, while Molly Book hart (Orangeburg, S.C.) had 11 assists and Jordan Hancock (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) had four kills.

Coker will take on Palm Beach Atlantic in their second match of the day at 4:00 p.m. and then on Saturday the Lady Cobras will face Wingate University at 10:00 a.m. and USC-Aiken at 3:30 p.m.
