Hartsville, SC- Coker College’s Head Volleyball Coach, Chuck Mullen, announced the Second Annual “Jam in the Sand” Volleyball Tournament today. On Saturday, June 9, 2007, the Coker Volleyball Team will host a sand volleyball tournament. The tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Coker Boathouse. There will also be food and drinks served for all participates following the tournament.

Teams of two, four, or six people will compete on the sand volleyball court at the Coker Boathouse on Prestwood Lake, for awards and prizes. Teams can be made up of all one gender or co-ed. Cost for the tournament will be $60 for a team of six ($10/player), $48 for a team of four ($12/player), and $30 for a team of two ($15/player). 

Awards will be given out to winning teams, along with a party for all participants at the Coker Boathouse following the day’s events.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit the Coker College Women’s Volleyball Team.
