In the first game, the Cobras battled back from a six point deficit to tie the game at 27. They would then go on to win the game, but one win is all the Cobras could manage, as the Tritons won the next three games.
Coker was led by senior Andrea Manuel/Spartanburg, SC, with 19 kills and 20 digs, while junior Tara Nelson/Rochester Hills, MI, had 14 kills, 22 assists and 14 digs. Sophomores Margaret Madison/Savannah, GA, and Courtney Butrym/Columbia, SC, had 10 kills and 26 assist respectively, while sophomore Natalie Schembra/Hilton Head, SC, and freshman Kelsey Carlson/Oswego, IL, each had 15 and 21 digs respectively.
