Hartsville, SC- The Coker Volleyball Team came out ready to win and that is exactly what they did, defeating CVAC foe Queen’s University of Charlotte. The Cobras won 30-12, 30-16 and 30-16 in the three game match.

 

Leading the Cobras to victory was senior Andrea Manuel/Spartanburg, SC, who had nine aces, eight kills and seven digs on the night. Sophomore Margaret Madison/Savannah, GA, had four aces and five kills in the match, while junior setter Tara Nelson/Rochester Hills, MI, had 24 assists.

 

The Cobra Volleyball Team will take to the court again on Friday, September 30, as they host Limestone College at 6:30 p.m. at the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium. The match is a part of Coker’s Homecoming festivities which continues on Saturday, October 1, with women’s soccer at 10 a.m. and men’s soccer at 1 p.m.
