Greenwood, SC- Sara Senn recorded a game-high 24 kills and added 15 digs Wednesday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-2 non-conference victory over Coker College in Horne Arena. Game scores were: 24-30, 30-22, 27-30, 30-23, 15-9.

Lander improves to 3-2 overall, while Coker falls to 0-5.

Kerri Sorensen added 16 kills, seven service aces and 25 digs for the Bearcats, while Claire Damon led the team in assists with 43 and also had 21 digs. Melissa Trippany had 23 digs, while Tracy Jacobs added 15.

Lander posted a .232 hitting error, compared to Coker's .065.

Coker was led by Margaret Madison/Savannah, GA, who had 16 kills and 12 digs. Megan Haupt/Summerville, SC added 10 kills, while Courtney Butrym/Irmo, SC led the Cobras in assists with 35. Andrea Manuel/Lyman, SC and Kelsey Carlson/Oswego, IL had 19 digs each, while Natalie Schembra/Hilton Head, SC and Courtney Butrym had 16 each.
