Mitchem Breaks Outdoor 400m Record As Cobras Compete in USC Open

The Coker University Women's Track & Field traveled to Columbia, SC to compete in the USC Open on April 20th.

400m

In the 400m, Mariah Mitchem would steal the show capturing 9th overall and breaking the outdoor track & field 400m record with a time of 54.57.

100m

In the 100m, Mitchem would be the first to cross the line for the Cobras finishing with a time of 12.32. Jade Roberts would round out the 100 for the Cobras with a time of 14.02.

200m

In the 200m, Kat Andrews would finish with a time of 29.84.

800m

In the 800m, Shawnteanna Tillman would cross the line with a time of 2:50.01.

In The Field

Discus

In Discus, Nehemiah Jinks best throw would come at 19.89m (65-03).

Long Jump

In Long Jump, Kat Andrews best distance came at 4.16m (13-07.75).

Shot Put

In Shot Put, Jinks would once again step into the circle for the Cobras, landing a best throw of 8.33m (27.04.00).

The Cobras next meet will be on May 1st, as they will compete in the SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet.
