Pembroke, NC - The Coker University Women's Track and Field Team claimed 2nd place at the 2023 Braves Classic.

Starting off the meet strong, Ayana English, Nya Exxum, Mariah Mitchem, and Naizja Redding placed second in the women's 4x100M relay. Following, Catherine Cann took fifth in the 1500M run while Stephani Forrester and Michaela Hayes claimed third and fourth place finishes in the 400M run. With another back to back finish, Taylor Marotta and Shawnteanna Tillman placed ninth and tenth in the 800M race. Keeping pace with the rest of her team, Arianna Williams ran a time of 28.46 in the 200M race.

The Cobras will be returning to the track in Anderson at the Electric City Invitational.
