ANDERSON, S.C. - The Coker University women's track and field team completed competition at the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships on Friday (May 6). 

Calene Lazare picked up where she left off on Thursday with a win in the 100 meter dash as she posted a time of 11.62. Lazare was also victorious in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.98. Teammate Mariah Mitchem finished in second place in the 200 meter dash, recording a time of 24.75. Mitchem took home a win of her own in the 400 meter dash as she put up a time of 56.37. Mitchem was also named South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year. 

Catherine Cann took home 34th in the 5000 meter run and Ikia McCullough finished 18th in the discus throw with a distance of 23.19 meters. The 4x400 team rounded out the day with an eighth place finish with a time of 4:05.20.
