HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University senior track and field athlete Calene Lazare has been named the SPC Credit Union April Student-Athlete of the Month, announced by the athletics department today (Monday, May 2).

Lazare was a member of the 4x100 team that set a new Coker program record at the Aggie Classic with a time of 46.48. She also set the program record in the 200 meters with a time of 23.78 at the same meet. 

This is Lazare's second career Student-Athlete of the Month selection.

The Newton, Mass. native is a double major in biology and psychology.
