HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker College senior runner Darroneshia Lott is set to take on the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships tomorrow (Jun. 21) in Des Moines, Iowa when she competes in the first round of the 800-meter at 2:20 p.m. CST.

Lott heads into tomorrow's race after running a time of 2:01.26 back on Jun. 2, good for sixth out of 20 runners that participated in the 800-meter event at the Music City Distance Carnival. Coker's most decorated runner defeated competitors from Great Britain, Furman, Penn State, Arkansas, and several other runners that ran unattached in the event.

The 800-meter race at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships has a field of 33 total runners. Out of the 33 runners that Lott will compete against, Lott has the 13th fastest qualifying time.
