HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker College track and field runner Kaylah Ruff was named AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced today. 

Ruff, a junior from Conover, N.C., let the way for the Cobras in the 60-meter hurdles at the JDL New Year College Kick-Off on Sunday (Jan. 7). Ruff finished second and ran away with a new Coker College track and field record, crossing the line in 9.14 seconds to become the new record holder.

She is the daughter of Vickie and Tommy Ruff. She is an exercise science major.
