Coker's Leake Named Astroturf SAC Women's Outdoor Track Runner of the Week

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's track & field athlete Noelia Leake was named the Astroturf South Atlantic Conference Women's Outdoor Track Runner of the Week, the league office announced today.

Leake had a standout day at the Wingate Invitational, where she finished in the runner-up position in the 200-meter dash, with a time of 26.17 in the finals. She also came in third in the women's 100-meter dash, running a time of 12.42, which tied her best performance of the season. As a member of the 4x 100-meter relay, the team of Leake, along with Da'Sha Jobes, Autumn Walters and Jalecia Williamson, posted a season-best time of 48.72, which landed them a second place finish. That time also gives them the second-lowest time amongst the SAC teams, coming into this meet. Leake helped Coker take home a 4th place finish overall as a team.

Leake, a sophomore from Clinton, S.C., she is an Exercise Science major. She is the daughter of Omega Judge and Willie Leake and Jennifer Johnson.
