HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College women's tennis team is set to square off with the visiting Wingate University Bulldogs Tuesday (Mar. 27) afternoon in South Atlantic Conference play. Opening serve is set for 2 p.m.
Heading into tomorrow's match, Jennifer Mezei and Suzanna Mickey lead the Navy and Gold in singles play with 6-5 records. Mezei has picked up her six victories at the No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 spots, while Mickey has earned victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.
In doubles play, Mezei and Mickey have recorded a team-best 7-4 record, picking up two victories at the No. 1 position and five wins at No. 2 doubles. Additionally, Charlotte Clarke and Jenna Gainey have posted a 4-4 record at No. 3 doubles.
Wingate heads into tomorrow's match with an 11-3 overall record and a 4-0 mark in conference action.
