Coker's Mezei, Palmer Named to Women's Tennis All-Conference Team

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis players Jennifer Mezei and Bailey Palmer were named to the South Atlantic Conference honorable mention squad for doubles play, the league announced today. 

The tandem has picked up eight wins on the year in doubles play, five of them against conference opponents.

Mezei is a sophomore from Bavaria, Germany and a criminology major. She is the daughter of Eniko and Janos-A Mezei. Palmer is a senior from Port Orange, Fla. and an elementary education major. She is the daughter of Jacqueline and Todd Palmer.

This is Palmer's second consecutive All-SAC selection, as she was named to the doubles second team as well as the singles second team in 2015.

The Cobras will play their first round match at the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Thursday (April 21). The sixth-seeded Cobras will take on third-seeded Queens at Brevard College at 9:00 a.m.
