Cobras Host Lions for Season Finale

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis will finish its regular season when they host Mars Hill on Saturday (April 16).

The Cobras will be honoring seniors Bailey Palmer, Ragan Palmer and Jessi Campos

Bailey Palmer had a solid two-year career as a Cobra, playing both No. 1 and No. 2 singles and racking up 12 wins. Playing doubles with twin sister Ragan, Palmer won 11 matches in doubles play.

Ragan Palmer played singles both at No. 4 and No. 5, picking up 10 wins in her first year at Coker. 

Campos amassed 18 singles wins in her career at Coker, and 14 wins in doubles competition.

The Cobras swept Brevard 9-0 in South Atlantic Conference action on Sunday (April 10). The navy and gold won six matches via shutout in the contest.

The Lions come in at 4-13 overall and 1-9 in the South Atlantic Conference. Jasha Geerdink leads the Lions with a 10-5 mark in singles play on the season.

First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Coker Tennis Courts.
