HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's tennis coach Tom Simpson has announced the additions of Melissa Mahon and Jenny Mezei to the 2014-15 recruiting class. Mahon and Mezei will join the Navy and Yellow in the fall of 2014.

"These two young ladies are tremendous players and great additions to our team," said Simpson. "Both are very skilled and add elements to our team that will make us more competitive in the tough South Atlantic Conference."

Mahon is from Flagstaff, Ariz., where she is a three-sport athlete in tennis, cross country and basketball at Flagstaff High School. As an Eagle, Mahon was a two-time team captain and state doubles semifinalist in tennis.

Melissa is the daughter of Kevin and Peggy Mahon.

Mezei hails from Weilheim, Bavaria, Germany, where she is a four-sport athlete in tennis, basketball, volleyball and track & field at Gymnasium Weilheim.

Jenny is the daughter of Janos-A. and Eniko Mezei.
