North Greenville Tops Coker 6-3

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Cobra women's tennis team dropped their Conference Carolinas match to North Greenville on Saturday (Mar. 29), 6-3.

The Coker women fought hard in doubles play, but they were unable to come away with a win. The No. 1 tandem on Daniela Chipe and Jessi Campos sent their match to a tie-breaker, but lost 9-8 (7-2). At No. 2 doubles Anna Musiyenko and Faith Baxley narrowly lost, 9-7.

In singles play, the Cobras came away with three victories at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3. Chipe won at No.1 winning 6-4, 6-2 and Campos won by default at No. 2. Musiyenko earned the final victory for the Cobras at No. 3 with scores of 6-3 and 7-5.

Coker will be back on the court on Saturday (Mar. 30) at 1 p.m. at Limestone College.
