Salisbury, NC-  The Lady Cobra tennis team was unable to find the win column on Monday afternoon as they fell by a 7-2 score to home standing Catawba College.

Catawba came out quickly and took all three doubles matches by scores of 8-6, 8-1, and 8-5.

In singles play, Rachel Lemar (London, England) was able to pick up a victory at number two as her opponent had to retire at 0-1 in the first set due to a knee injury.  Playing number five, Ashley Pace (Clinton, SC) was dominant as she rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 victory.

The Lady Cobras return to the courts tomorrow at 2PM as they play host to Converse College in a key Conference Carolinas match up.
