HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's soccer will play host to the Converse College Valkyries on Wednesday (Sept. 6) in a mid-week non-conference matchup. Fans can follow the game with live stats and video by visiting www.cokercobras.com. 

The Cobras (0-1) head into tomorrow's game seeking their first victory of the season. Last Monday (Sept. 4) against UNC-Pembroke, Coker had six players put a shot on goal. True freshman goal keeper Samantha Hoffman provided solid defense in the net by collecting nine saves.

The Valkyries come into the match with one loss, which most recently came on Aug. 31 to Francis Marion, 1-0. Converse fired off seven shots with four being on goal. Lizzie Melching leads Converse in shots with two.

The match is slated for a 7 p.m. start at the Coker Athletic Field. Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free to all Coker faculty, staff, and students.
