Cobras to Take on Bears in Critical Conference Matchup

HARTSVILLE, S.C. –The Coker women's soccer team will take on the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne University in match two of its three-match home stand on Wednesday (Sept. 24). Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. Live coverage of the match will be available on www.cokercobras.com.

The Navy and Yellow will be looking to improve on its 1-1 records at home and in SAC competition. Trah Monroe and Salina Maynard have been the offensive catalysts for the Cobras, leading the team in goals and assists, respectively. Goalkeeper Liz Morris has a firm grasp on the SAC lead in saves, having registered 55 stops on the season. Her save total is also good enough for second in all of NCAA Division II women's soccer.

Lenoir-Rhyne comes to Hartsville sporting a 3-2-1 overall record and 2-0 mark in conference play. Garcelle Alequine's four goals and three assists lead the Bears offense on the season.

Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
