Cobras Face Off Against Trojans

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team will host Mount Olive in nonconference action this Wednesday (Oct. 16), at the Coker Soccer Field.  The game will be available live on a video webcast at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras are coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 double overtime loss to Mars Hill last Saturday (Oct. 12), and will be looking to get back on track against the Trojans.  Trah Monroe led that competition with one goal and one assist for the Cobras.

Jalynn Fortt, Millie Rogers, and Jordan Roy continue to lead the Coker offense with two goals a piece, while Lizz Morris heads the defense and is fourth in the nation with 117 saves on the year.

Mount Olive is coming off a 1-1 tie with Limestone in their most recent competition, with Ellie Barnes and Alex Wetherholt leading the offense at three goals each.

The game is set for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff.  Tickets for the match are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
