HARTSVILLE, SC – Coker College head women's soccer coach Dan Muns announced today that Tatum Sellers, Emma Ferguson, Sydney McElwain, Cassandra Ordonez and Salina Maynard have agreed to play for the  Cobras.

Tatum Sellers

"We are happy and excited to add these five young women," Muns said. "They are true examples of what we are looking for in a student-athlete. We expect them to make an immediate impact on the field and in the classroom."

Sellers is a defender from Gilbert, Ariz. She attended Williams Field High School and was a two-sport athlete in soccer and track. In soccer, Sellers was a three-year starter for the varsity squad, earning second team all-region honors twice. She is also a member of the Gilbert Arsenal SC 95 Premier Teal club team, which placed fourth in the Arizona state cup in 2012.

Tatum is the daughter of Brad and Bernadette Sellers.

Emma Ferguson

A defender, Ferguson comes to Coker after a career at Statesville Christian School in Statesville, N.C. She was a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball and tennis. In soccer, Ferguson played on the varsity team for six years. She earned four first team all-conference honors and one first team all-state nod.

Emma is the daughter of Tony and Valerie Ferguson.

McElwain and Ordonez are both joining Coker from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. McElwain, a goalkeeper, is originally from Wellington, Fla. Ordonez, a defender, hails from Palmetto, Fla.

Sydney is the daughter of Rocky and Angela McElwain. Cassandra is the daughter of Segundo and Martha Ordonez.

Salina Maynard

Maynard, a forward, comes from Blythewood, S.C., where she attended Blythewood High School.

Salina is the daughter of Jim and Socorro Maynard.
