Coker Falls to Queens, 4-0

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team lost 4-0 to Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday (Oct. 20) night, in a Conference Carolinas match.

The Royals struck first just 17-minutes into the game, when Brook Foil cleaned up a rebound shot from Nadia Butt.  At the end of the first half action the Cobras trailed 1-0.

What started off as a slow second half, quickly turned against Coker.  The Cobras offense rattled off 14 shot attempts, and launched four corner kicks throughout the game but could not connect, as the Queens offense found their rhythm scoring again in the 72nd, 86th, and 88th –minutes of the game.

Coker will be back on the road, as they travel to face Mount Olive on October 23.  The game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
