HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women’s soccer team fell to the Erskine College Flying Fleet 2-0 in their final home game of the season. Erskine’s Casey Craft scored both the Fleet goals, while Si’Ara Washington earned the shutout in the net for the net for Erskine.

Craft scored both her goals in the first half of play. The first came in the 11th minute of play off a shot from just outside the 18 yard box. Her second goal of the match came at the 31 minute mark. She put a header past Coker keeper Carrie Hudnell from inside the six yard box.

Hudnell (Goose Creek, S.C.) had three saves in the match and Sarah Kinsey (Windermere, Fla.) had two shots to lead the offense. Senior defenders Mandi Warner (Walterboro, S.C.), Stephanie Leitgeb (Goose Creek, S.C.) and Mackenzie Hallahan (Ocala, Fla.) held the Fleet offense in check the entire second half in their final game at the Coker soccer field.

The Cobras have just two matches remaining this season. Their first match will be on Monday, at USC-Aiken at 7:00 p.m. and the second will be on Saturday, October 30 at Lees-McRae at 4:00 p.m.
